FAQ’s

When exactly will the classes start? We are working hard to finishing our cookie studio are hoping to have our first class in October 2019! Please make sure to sign up for our newsletter so that you can be notified as soon as class tickets are available!

Where will the classes be held? Classes will happen in our new cookie studio located in Coachella, CA.

How do I sign up for a class? Once class dates and times are finalized, they will be posted in this CLASS section for purchase online. Newsletter subscribers will receive first notice of when class tickets are available. Class seats must be purchased in advance (no walk-ins allowed as items must be baked and prepared in advance). The class limit is 12 people per class. If a class has low attendance, the class date may be cancelled or changed at our discretion.

What will the price be? We will be offering different types of classes. The first class we plan on offering is a decorating class similar to a paint night (all supplies are provided and step-by-step directions are given). We will also be offering private classes, mommy-and-me classes and in-depth classes for those that want to learn how to make cookies and icing from scratch. Because of that, classes will vary in price. More details to come!

How long will the class be? The decorating class will be about 2 hours in length. It may run a little longer depending on the pace of the class, the amount of question and the design of the cookies.

How many students per class? Each class will hold no more than 12 students.

Do I need to have prior decorating experience to attend a class? Absolutely NOT! No experience or cookie knowledge is necessary to attend! We want you to come with your friends and family and just have a great time learning and trying something new!

What is the minimum age to attend a class? Children between the ages of 7-17 can attend with an accompanying paying adult. We will be offering a mommy-and-me class were you can come join other kids for a more kid friendly design and environment.

How often will the classes happen? We plan on having at least one class per month. If there is a demand or tickets sell out quickly, we may add additional classes in one given month.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the class? Not a single thing! All supplies, an apron, decorating tools and a take home box will be provided to you.

Will recipes be shared? Yes! You will be provided with recipes to try at home!

Will the decorating class include hands on recipe making? No, the decorating class is just that…decorating. Private one-on-one’s, demos, and advance classes will be available in the near future for those wanting a hands-on experience.

Will the classes be available in Spanish? Si! We plan on having classes available in Spanish in the future. Classes in Spanish may happen once every three months to start and increase in frequency if there is a demand.

What if I can’t attend the class I already purchased a ticket for? We know that plans change or emergencies happen! If you are not able to attend the class, you can reschedule for a future date or transfer your ticket to a friend or family member. Unfortunately, class tickets are non-refundable. You are able to reschedule your class no more than one time. If you are not able to make up a class then the ticket will be void.

I have a large group that would like to attend, can you hold a private class? Yes’m! We would love to host a private class for a group of friends or family members! Please send us an email to: thelittlecookieco@yahoo.com. We look forward to planning a fun celebration for you and your party guests!

What other types of classes will you be teaching? Our goal is to expand from cookie decorating. We would like to host cake, cupcake, cake-pop, photography, business and craft classes!

Do you partner up with other creatives to teach at your cookie studio? We would love to partner up! We want to provide the community with fun classes beyond cookie decorating. Will you be selling some of the supplies/tools that we will be using in class? Yes! We want you to go home, practice and use some of the tools/supplies that we love and can’t decorate without! After class is over, you will have an opportunity to shop and we will also be posting our Amazon favorites on the website soon. We will also be offering cookie decorating kits which will include pre-baked cookies and pre-made icing.

What other services will you be offering? We will be expanding to cookie cutters, stencils, and supplies soon! Stay tuned for more information.
